What We Need From You

When requesting a 911 address, please provide:

• Road name or number

• Closest neighbors’ 911 addresses

• Whether you are building a new house or moving a mobile home

• Previous residents (if applicable)

• Current structures or landmarks at the location

• Whether driveway is new or existing

• Whether you share the driveway with any other residents

Assignment Process

• Our team visits your location to assign the correct address using precise measuring instruments.

• Addresses are calculated so that every 5.28 feet corresponds to one address number (5,280 feet = 1 mile).

• Even-numbered addresses are on the right side of the road; odd-numbered addresses are on the left, starting from the road’s beginning.

Why 911 Addresses Matter

• Emergency vehicles rely on your 911 address to find you quickly.

• Make sure your house number is posted clearly and visibly, at least 4 inches tall, either on your home or at the end of your driveway.

• Your 911 address is also your official mailing address (except for P.O. Boxes).

• Always update us if your information changes (residents, phone numbers, or structures).
